Hi, I’m Collins!
As a photographer, wife, and mom of two of the world's most energetic preschool boys (no exaggeration!), I know that the thought of scheduling family photos can be A LOT. Picking outfits, wrangling kids, trying to feel photogenic yourself; I get it! Your experience with me is different (promise).
From the moment we first connect to the big reveal, you can expect everything to be easy (and fun!), and your final images to be as gorgeous and authentic as your family.

Once we’ve nailed down the details over the phone I’ll send you an online booking link where you can sign the contract, pay your deposit and answer a short questionnaire. Once that’s done, you’re booked. Next, you’ll receive an email with your session details and my Welcome Guide, filled with tips + tricks on what to wear and how to prep your kids (and partner!) for the session.

Use my Welcome Guide tips + tricks to easily style your family and get them excited about our time together. I provide a wardrobe consultation and if you’ve booked an in-home session, we will set up a virtual home tour so I can see your home (and where all the perfect light is!) before session day.

Once you arrive, your only job is to SMILE no matter what happens. I have a ton of fun games and tricks to keep your kids engaged. If one of your kiddos gets upset, just keep smiling! I’ve got it covered. As a mom of two preschoolers myself, I’ve seen it all and know how to get the images you want despite meltdowns. I’ll lead you through some poses, I’ll give some direction, and then within that framework, I’ll let your family play, snuggle, and love on each other.

Your film will be delivered to the lab on the Monday following your session. Processing and editing time are approx. 3 weeks. You will receive an email with the link to your online gallery within 28 days of your session.

Your only job is to show up to your session, whether that’s in your home or on location at the beach. If your kids don’t “behave” the way you want them to, don’t worry! I have lots of fun games and tricks up my sleeve to get your kids engaged in the session. If you smile the whole time and go with the flow, you will get amazing photos of your family.

It’s simple. Children are most comfortable in their own environment, which is why the most authentic moments happen at an in-home session. If your heart is set on a beautiful location, I shoot exclusively at the beach because kids LOVE the beach and are happy to run around in the sand and play in the waves.
